“I finally saw I was just doing it to get attention”

I work with a lot of overachievers. And every one of them has some kind of story around why they are not enough.

What they need to be enough.

I was just talking with a client who found himself overcommitting.

Over and over and over.

Most coaches would have worked on productivity. On streamlining his commitments.

But to me, the interesting questions are always upstream.

There is no such thing as a time management problem.

The only issue is priorities. Where you choose to spend your time.

Where you time will have the most impact on the business.

After working together a few months, my client discovered that he wasn’t prioritizing his business. He was prioritizing what he thought would get him attention. Approval. Validation as a good person.

But “enough” is an inside game. No one else can ever convince you.

When you see this, you choose differently. Automatically.

See you are already enough, and then what will you create?
