So many of us focus on money, titles, status. And it feels good to have those things. For awhile.
But is it possible that those things aren’t really enough for you anymore? And that they might require your silence about things you truly believe?
The work that is being asked of us right now requires integrity. Deep honesty, first with ourselves, and then with others.
I wasn’t fully honest with myself until I was laid off. And I work on the courage to reveal my true self to others every day.
There are key points when you realize it is time to question what you have valued, and to decide how to proceed.
9/11 was one for me. Getting laid off in 2016 was another.
In each case, I was willing to own that I was on the wrong path, and to make changes for the better. To find and lead from a sense of purpose. Today, I help others do the same.
I believe that this is another of those times in which it is essential to question what you believe, what you want, who you want to become. To lead from your purpose.
And I’m creating a group of people to support each other in doing this.
